Everything you need to know about ArkScribe

Yes. All screenshots, descriptions, and guides are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is ever uploaded to my servers. I don't collect analytics, track usage, or see what you're documenting.

Free includes unlimited recordings and exports to all formats, but with ArkScribe watermarks. Pro (pay what you want) removes watermarks and adds screenshot editing tools (draw, text, shapes, arrows, blur), image cropping, and custom layout uploads for complete branding control.

ArkScribe works on Chrome (v88+), Edge (Chromium), Brave, Opera, and other Chromium-based browsers. Firefox and Safari are not currently supported due to different extension APIs.

The free version shows Pro features (with prompts to upgrade) so you can see what's available.

Every export generates: PDF, HTML (embedded images), HTML (separate images), Markdown (embedded images), Markdown (separate images), and an images folder with all screenshots as PNGs-all packaged in a single ZIP file.
